The First Communion Lutheran Church, hosts for the Jazz Vesper this past Sunday (7/19). EDQ1 Quartet was the featured Jazz Artists and they did a fantastic job with tunes written by Duke Ellington, Herbie Hancock and other greats. "Jazz on the South Side" was really shot out of the water with the performances of Manuel Jimenez (trumpet) & Immanuel Wilkins (saxophonist) two emencely talented young men who will definitely be playing Jazz for many years to come. Unbelievable performances...you had to be there.Tuesday, July 21, 2009
